This policy covers games.jupetto.com and Latchworks from Jupetto (Pty) Ltd, the controller of information described here. Latchworks is in development and is not yet publicly released. The app sections below describe its current design and the services planned for launch. We will update this policy when those services are finalized.
This website
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes request information such as IP address, browser information and requested pages to deliver and secure the website. We do not operate an account system or collect information through website forms.
Optional Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, helps us understand page visits and site use. It is disabled until you select Allow analytics, and may remain unavailable while configuration is being completed. If you agree, Google may process identifiers, browser and device information, page paths and interaction information. We disable advertising personalization and Google Signals in our website configuration. We do not include page query strings in the page address sent by our code.
Your preference is stored in your browser. You can decline without losing access, or change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops further collection through our integration; it does not automatically delete data already processed. Browser settings can also remove cookies and local storage.
Game progress
Latchworks currently keeps puzzle progress, energy, settings and gameplay records on your device. There is no game account or cloud synchronization. Local diagnostic counters are not a remote analytics service. Removing app data can remove these records.
Advertising and app analytics
Google Mobile Ads and Google's consent tools are planned for advertising. Ads can involve device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostic information. Personalized advertising depends on applicable consent, regional requirements and iOS permissions. Rewarded ads provide only the benefit described when the required ad interaction is completed.
Firebase Analytics is planned to help measure game use and the effectiveness of advertising and purchases. App analytics has a separate opt-in and is off by default. If enabled in a configured release build, it can involve an app installation identifier, device and app information, gameplay events, and purchase or ad interaction events. Debug builds do not send remote analytics.
Crash diagnostics
Firebase Crashlytics is planned for crash investigation, separately from analytics. Diagnostics has its own opt-in and is off by default. Crash reports may be retained locally on the device before any upload; enabling diagnostics can allow retained reports to be sent. Reports can contain crash traces, app and device information and diagnostic identifiers. Debug builds do not send remote diagnostics. Production collection remains inactive until the service is configured. The final release controls will be documented here before launch.
Purchases
Apple handles digital purchases in the iOS app. The app uses verified transaction and entitlement information to provide purchased benefits and restore eligible purchases. Jupetto does not receive your full payment-card details. This website does not accept payments.
When you contact us
If you email us, we use your email address, message and attachments to respond and investigate your request. We retain correspondence as needed for support, security and applicable legal obligations. Please avoid sending sensitive information.
Service providers and retention
Providers process information under their own terms and applicable agreements and may process it in other countries. Their retention periods depend on the service and configuration. Read Vercel's privacy policy, Google's privacy policy, Firebase privacy information and Apple's privacy policy for details.
Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your information, or object to processing. Contact contact@jupetto.com to ask a question or make a request. We may need information to verify and locate the relevant records. For local game progress, device and app data controls apply.
Children
Our services are not designed to collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
